Am going on a "mission trip" to the Dominican Republic.  Will be back on the 13th.

Am having troubles with WCG client-  hoping to resolve them then.

Got back.  Acquired a chest cold due to sleep deprivation caused by delayed flights.  Hopefully, it won't get too bad.

Did some networking that may or may not turn into good projects.  Attended a fundraiser for an orphanage.

Spent two days building a house in a pretty bad slum.  Didn't stay till the end.  I understand it's built now and, while hardly luxurious, is pretty good by local standards. 

All in all a good trip.

Well, I'm back now for the second time.   This time from Guatemala.

My son, who is working with an NGO down there, and I took some time off and visited Tikal (ancient Mayan city) and also climbed an active volcano.  Seeing hot, red, flowing lava is something I've always wanted to do before I die.  I can cross it off my checklist, now.

Also took care of some business involving the NGO.  Our whole family's involved.

It's good to be back to my wife, other son, and our cats.  Yes, we in this country do have it good.
